Watts, a lead actress in the Scott McGehee and David Siegel-directed film, introduced the teenager during her solo walk on the carpet before joining her. "This is my daughter, Kai!" Watts said as her daughter walked the carpet. After Kai's solo walk was completed, Watts rejoined her on the carpet and the duo posed together for pictures. While Watts smiled big for pictures with her daughter, Kai maintained her straight-faced model pose. Earlier that month, Kai made herrunway debutin Paris, France. The teen was the spitting image of her parents as she walked for Valentino during Paris Fashion Week. During the show, the teenager emerged from a red stall door and strutted down the red runway. She wore a long-sleeve animal-print minidress with a feathered neckline, as well as white lace tights, blue-tinted sunglasses and white pumps with a floral detail around the ankle.
